Palm Sunday visitors...
Sister Clarice came by for brunch. She had much to tell us about her last adventure...her LAST trip......through the Panama Canal and up Mexico coast. She leaves for Houston April 24 but is taking the scenic route by the way of San Diego to see her brother, and then visiting all the way to Texas. We will sure miss her!!!!!

Confirmation 2010
Marie and Martin Cheim were confirmed at 5 p.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Marie's sponser was her aunt Annette and Martin's was his Grandpa. There must have been 500 people there!!! The photos are bad and I am putting them in the order I took them. Father started things out by giving instructions on confirmation etiquette.
wasn't close enough to see them confirmed but got a shot of Grandpa following Martin out.
sigh...sorry about the bad pics.

visit with June...
A very nice visit with June Cheim today. She has a very lovely home overlooking a small pond (seems so secluded with trees). Her house was a surprise ...I would never have guessed that she is a collector...and practically wall papered walls with pictures!!! A delicious lunch at the club.
They flew a flag at Oak Hill cemetery today honoring Leo for his time in the service.

Chef Roberto...
Bobby invited us over for dinner Sunday night. He cooked up a gourmet meal......pork and noodles and asparagus. Very delicious. We all had seconds!!
Because of daylight savings time we got there a little early or was it late??? While Bob was cooking I had a chance to take some photos of his yard and house...looking good!!
Short and sweet...hustled on our way..in spite of daylight savings.....to beat the sunset and just made it. Didn't even take time for a cribbage game!!!
