exciting changes at Annette's....

We went to Annette's for a delicious lunch and to look at the terrific changes she is making to her rental unit and her new deck.

She has gained a pantry and broom closet in her kitchen.

she can walk right out her kitchen door onto a new deck

she removed the wall between the bedroom and the living room/kitchen
and now has a huge living room with a front door.

she made a door between the newly converted laundry

room/into bedroom and her old little dining nook to

make a bedroom for the baby.

She put her tenants into a hotel room so when they
come home they will be surprised!!!!

We were astounded at the difference these little changes have made!!!

Robbie stained our pool deck...

Michael cleaned, swept and washed it.
Robbie washed it and stained it today.

Sunday visitors...

To Mass at the OConner chapel.
Elizabeth brought Julie and Martin by for a visit. Martin had just completed his 2 week camp at St. Pius X in the mountains above Los Gatos. He said he had a great time.
A while later Robert, Robbie, Michael and Marie came by and we sat around and talked..then found out Robbie could finish the deck for us on Monday and Tuesday, so went out to take a look. One thing or another...trying to get the fish pond to work...the water blaster etc.
We always enjoy their visits.

Today Marie, Julie and I got a pedicure...Julie got tiny flowers painted on her big toes.
We had gone to Toys R Us yesterday for a special gift treat and had pizza for dinner.
Michael was here cleaning the deck getting ready for a coat of stain.
We had spare ribs and corn for dinner. They didn't leave until about 8:30 p.m.
We really enjoyed their stay.
