going home....

We've had a nice 2 day visit and left right after lunch.
Yesterday I called the TT office and talked to Eddie about the possibility of moving our trailer to a sewer hookup.  I asked for site 146 where we were last year on our anniversary.  He said it might be possible but it would have to be after the rental season is over...it is renting through September.  I said fine....so keep our fingers crossed and our prayer bones active!!!

You will remember that it is near the shuffle board court and in the section where all the rental trailers are.  In the picture below it would be the site on the left.  The yellow structure to the right is in front of the bathrooms and there is a grassy field in between.

pretty much like where we are now in 189...
but there is a lot more space between trailers.
Those big mega motorhomes can really fence us in where we are!!!!!
I hope we get 146.

what do YOU think????

oh what a beautiful morning

Another great day.  Summer is almost here because the store is open and the pool too...people were swimming but we forgot our suits!!!!

I couldn't reach over the fence to take a whole picture so peeked through the gates.
It is such a huge pool and always so clean.

headed for TT

We planned to leave home at 10:00 a.m. and were all packed
and in the car and it wouldn't start.  aakk

Got a jump start from a neighbor and off we went.

It was beautiful weather, but the hills are slowing turning brown.
The park here is still pretty green and they encourage us to water our spots.
Nice to be here.  We sure love our trailer and this place!!!!

what a day!!!!

I spent 4 hours under the grind of replacing 8 crowns....ALL together!!!!  My 2 bridges (combining 4 teeth each)  must have been 20 or 30 years old.

What an experience..I wouldn't wish this on anybody!!!!      4 HOURS.....

On the lighter side...the gal that was helping the dentist had to go out for lunch (after 3 hours of grinding and poking) and was replaced by Carrie,  the doctor's wife.  We started talking and she mentioned that she was a patient of Dr. John Fortune and proceeded to tell me this interesting story:

They were on vacation at some lake and she broke her upper arm and had it temporarily splinted and put in a sling.  When they came home she went to Kaiser and saw John....where he treated her and gave her various treatments to stimulate healing....it took her 1 year to heal.

During one of her visits to the office she lost the diamond out of her ring and the whole office was in an uproar trying to find it....they searched everywhere.  I don't know how much time elapsed but one day,  on their wedding anniversary,  her husband gave her a dozen beautiful red roses.  Later that day she got a phone call from Kaiser hospital telling her that they had found her stone!!!!!  It was a miracle...it somehow had gotten kicked under the copy machine which was in a side office off the main hall leading to the doctors offices.  How it got there no one knows.

Carrie said she rushed right over to Kaiser and gave her red roses to the person who found the diamond.
What an amazing story!!!!

Happy Mothers day

It was a great day, everyone was here except Robbie (had to work), Sue, Michelle, Christina and Greg.  We missed you!!!!
Victoria made the decorations and she and Cathleen set the tables with the help of Marie, Fred, and Laura.  The table was adorned with frou frou paper flowers  and each of the women had on a frou frou hat as seen on Grandma in the picture below.  Fun!!!!

Cathleen and St. Gregory

We will be watching Cathleen's new painting with interest!
Pope Gregory I (Latin: Gregorius I) (c. 540 – 12 March 604), better known in English as Gregory the Great, was pope from 3 September 590 until his death. Gregory is well known for his writings, which were more prolific than those of any of his predecessors as pope.

He is the patron saint of musicians, singers, students, and teachers.
