What a great time we had...Annette, all the Cheims except Robbie, Dad and I spent 3 and 1/2 days at White Rock. Saturday afternoon Michael, Marie and Martin took a borrowed boat out while Robert and Julie strolled around the lake. Annette bbq'd chicken and we ate outside..the flies weren't that bad.
On Sunday Robert and Michael had to leave early and it got hotter and hotter...it finally reached 87 degrees but it felt like 108. We stayed under the air conditioner and fans and slept off and on all day. But dinner made up for it and we celebrated Annette's birthday even though she cooked it herself!!! and made her own cake!!!!
Monday we ventured out to the lake....these are the pictures. Kim had just been down for a swim.

On Monday Annette, Elizabeth, and Marie worked like professional cleaners and tore the cabin apart literally...moved every piece of furniture in the great room, swept and vacuumed and dusted, washed windows. Victoria has done such a great job keeping the cabin clean, but they wanted to do the complete spring thing!!!! Annette applied her "staging expertice" and the place pops with zing.....you will like the minor but great changes!!! Martin scrubbed out the refrigerator and freezer and Julie wiped out the big drawers next to the stove. Dad and I looked on and marveled saying...we used to do that!! and finally ended up applying a coat of mop and glo to the floors in the great room, just to say we did something!!
Another great dinner and the next morning everyone got up late and we decided to leave before it got too hot...around 11:30. Stopped in Aptos to get something to drink and eat and at home by 2 p.m.
We hope you are all pleased with the way the cabin looks!!!
