Mary at Bryn Mawr...

Today begins Mary's month long leadership and management
development curriculum at Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Each summer since 1976, the HERS Bryn Mawr Summer Institute has provided a month-long residential program presenting an intensive leadership and management development curriculum for approximately seventy women faculty and administrators on the campus of Bryn Mawr College.

Bryn Mawr's campus, long recognized as one of the most beautiful in the country, is set in a century-old, varied suburb that is 11 miles west of Philadelphia, the nation's sixth-largest city. The majestic stone buildings that anchor the campus were the first examples of a style of architecture that came to be known as Collegiate Gothic, and they served as templates for dozens of other campuses. Today the campus includes 40 buildings on 135 acres. Got five minutes? Take a roller-coaster video tour of the campus with student guides.

Extremely nice services

Leo Cheim...may he rest in peace.
Rosary said by family and friends Thursday. Very loving services on Friday with Leo's wife, June, and their 9 children all participating. Taps played when the flag was folded by the Marines...very stirring. Laid to rest in the Mausoleum with prayers said by the immediate family.

Leo has been a much loved member of our family for over 21 years and we are going to miss him very much. Our heart goes out to June and all the Cheim family, especially Robert and our daughter Elizabeth and their children, Robbie, Michael, Marie, Martin and Julie, who will miss their “papa”......
