Columbus day weekend....

We celebrated Columbus day with visitors both Sunday and Monday.
Sunday Annette, Elizabeth, Robert, Martin and Julie
Martin stayed all night and we couldn't go swimming because he forgot his suit!!!!
So guess what he did most of.....happily...

The wild turkeys on their way through camp

it was a little nippy so we ate indoors

it was Robbie's first trip to our trailer
Grandma has her wash and wear camping hairdo

 Martin beat Grandpa at cribbage
Martin watered all the lawns today for us...looking greener!!!!

Marie had stayed all night with a friend in Morgan Hill and they picked her up on the way.

When the Cheims left, we noticed orange lights down the street so went to investigate.
A couple from Grass Valley who loved Halloween had their motor home yard all decorated.
Her father owned Greenlee's bakery on the Alameda where she worked growing up.

There are so many interesting people here.

The couple next door used to have 60 or more turtles when they lived at home..now since they
are full time travelers they only take 4 turtles and a lizard.  They have large pen they put on the
grass in front of their place and people stop by to look.  Cathleen you would love them.
3 box turtles and one that looks pink and rose colored.

Earlier in the day Dad and Martin went over to the pool looking for a bathing suit in
the lost and found.  There was a man in the huge ball field flying a motorized airplane.
It was not balsa or plastic or styrofoam...the guy goes all over to fly his kite....I
think mostly TT parks.

An interesting holiday and we thank God for our new "toy" in our old age.
